I was just testing cupcake on my old phone. A iPhone 12 with iOS 18.5
After creating a wallet I wanted to enable biometric security, but got the message “Exception: No secure biometric authentication found.”. This feels strange as biometric works on Cake Wallet.
So is it only not working on Cupcake?
Hi, you need to enable the debug options first. You can do so by holding the about cupcake button in settings and tapping on it multiple times until debug options are enabled, it’ll read: debug options enabled. See screenshot below for reference.
That was it.
Why is it considered insecure? Would not expect to have to active it this way. 
I’m not sure what makes it insecure, what the parameters are, but the words insecure and “too new” were used when I asked. 
Glad it worked now though!
