Poor UX without copy and paste

Opened the app for the first time in a month or so to swap in some Bitcoin purchased from another app into my Monero wallet. When the wallet address for the swap appears, there is a QR code and the wallet address as text, but there is no way to copy the text. QR codes can’t be scanned by the same device, so I had to manually type out the address by swapping back and forth between the two apps. Previous versions of Cake Wallet had the ability to copy wallet address strings to paste into other apps, so this is a pretty frustrating UX regression. Please add back clipboard support for all wallet addresses.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. You cannot copy the address once you tap on the QR code on screen, that enlarges it; however, in the prior screen to that, where you see both the QR code not enlarged and the address, there’s a highlighted Copy button you can tap on to copy your address.

QR codes can’t be scanned by the same device

That’s the way it should work, no? You are supposed to be scanning with the sending device, which shouldn’t be the same you are generating the receive address from. Are you perhaps alluding to an option for Cake to take a saved image from storage and use it for the QR scan?
