Was going to add this in to the thread from a few days ago but decided not to and that about sums up my issue.
I have been sick as a dog after a family event and would have tried to rectify this before but after dealing with Cake support for like 48hrs on this, still no idea what happened to my BTC.
Granted it’s not a life altering amount but this was driving me insane at the time. My swap times out, I never sent the funds elsewhere and I assume it should have just been sitting back in my wallet. Would appreciate any tips, absolutely love Cake. Thanks y’all…
Can you share the Trade ID from this swap you created? Alternatively, you can contact us directly via the In-App Support or email at [email protected] to share the Trade ID so we can go over the details with you. Thanks for your cooperation on this!
@Rebaghost was that situation resolved? Good to close thread here? Let us know, thanks!
Hey there, this never did actually get rectified and had tried Cale support initially. My Trade ID was F9bLaO7bXR. Apologies for just getting back to you, life got in the way rather severely. Thanks for rescuing out awhile back and for any help you can possibly provide…

@Rebaghost Please do what William suggests and preferably reach out to Cake Wallet support team via e-mail. The e-mail address to send the message to is quoted above.
Ideally include the following things: partner/provider name (e.g. exolix, simpleswap, trocador…); trade ID which you already seem to have (F9bLaO7bXR) and your funding transaction ID. For example, you were sending XMR to get BTC, Cake’s support would need that XMR tx. ID and the other two details to be able to escalate with partner and look into it for you, figure out what went wrong there.
As a reminder:
Cake Wallet - Support
The only two (2) Cake Wallet official support channels:
- E-mail:
[email protected].
- In-app live support feature: Settings gear icon, top right>
Support (second to last option in menu)>Tap on Live support.
Closing thread here, since you should have everything you need. If you need further assistance, which you do, please use either of the two ways above, to get in touch with support and for this and any future swap issues, those are the generic three (3) things you should be sharing with support when you are looking for assistance.
Thanks!
