Bug: "Corrupted seeds The files for this wallet are corrupted..."

I just installed Cake Wallet on a linux mint pc, created first a Monero wallet and then a Bitcoin wallet. I closed the app and when I reopened it, I got the following message:

Corrupted seeds
The files for this wallet are corrupted and are unable to be opened. Please view the seed phrase, save it, and restore the wallet.
If the value is empty, then the seed was unable to be correctly recovered.

I then clicked on the “Show seeds” button and this message was displayed:

Corrupted seeds
invalid password
Corrupted wallets seeds (if retrievable, empty otherwise):
Failed to fetch <Monero Cake> seeds: Null
check operator used on a null value
Failed to fetch <Monero Cake> seeds: Null
check operator used on a null value

The password I entered is the correct one. I found a very similar issue on GitHub (issue #2413).

I tried reinstalling the app but it did not work. The version I dowloaded is: Cake_Wallet_v5.6.1_Linux.flatpak

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

No, but only because I wasn’t willing to go through the process. I just decided to create a new wallet on my phone and use that instead. In the end everything worked out.

Thanks for the help.
