I’m unable to start cake wallet on windows, it gets stuck on ‘authentication’ screen after entering my pin. Tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it and also change versions. Also when starting I get the error ‘oops we got some error’ and the option to send a report which I have done several times
Any ideas on how to fix? Tried rebooting, reinstalling the app, changing versions, disabling antivirus
Hi, can you please try deleting Cake’s program data on Windows files first, given that you have a back-up of your mnemonic seed(s) somewhere else, in a safe location, or a native Cake Wallet’s back-up file?
On Windows, should be saved in C://Program_files/userdata/ or something like this.
Once you do that, make sure you have the latest release from GitHub releases and restart everything, should work, if not, report back and we’ll take a look at it. Thanks!
