How to enable synchronization on GrapheneOS?

Hi guys,
someone contacted us because he’s using GrapheneOS and the connection to the nodes and the synchronization is not happening, the status remains in “attempting to synchronize”.

Sometimes it spends 1 to 2 seconds connected and then restarts the synchronization attempt.

Also, when trying to purchase, even leaving “All Payment Methods” selected, the DFX method isn’t offered, and the following error message appears:
“This currency pair is not supported by any provider for the selected payment method. Please choose another pair or e…”

For the DFX issue, picture in OP has USD as the selected currency, they’d need to change from USD to EUR for DFX to appear in the list of possible providers, otherwise, even if all are selected to show up, since it’s USD, DFX won’t appear. Another thing would be, to ideally do it using an Europe-based IP address.

Are they enabling background sync in settings? Is it set to daily, aggressive? Metered, unmetered connection? Tried both data and Wi-Fi? No VPN enabled?
