The latest version of Cake Wallet is now live for public beta testing in Google Play (testers channel), Apple Test Flight, and GitHub.
This release of Cake Wallet includes full Monero hardware wallet support via Ledger, including USB + Bluetooth on Android and Bluetooth on iOS. It also contains a bevy of bug fixes and quality of life improvements, including proper seed verification for new wallets to ensure that everyone is backing up their seeds properly! More details:
- Monero Ledger
- Monero now has full support for hardware wallets via Ledger Flex, Stax, and Nano X on both Android and iOS!
- Seed phrase verification/improvements
- This will drastically improve the on-boarding experience for new users, and ensure that ALL new users save their seed phrase.
- Balance hiding UX improvements
- Much easier hiding/showing of balance on the fly, no longer forcing users to dig into display settings. Simply tap on the balance to show or hide it – that’s it!
