V4.26.0 beta is live now!

The latest version of Cake Wallet is now live for public beta testing in Google Play (testers channel), Apple TestFlight, and GitHub.

v4.26.0 introduces Monero support for our “Wallet Groups” functionality, leveraging a standard 12-word BIP 39 seed phrase to derive a deterministic Monero wallet. One seed can now be used to create and backup Monero, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Nano, and Tron wallets. Full changelog:

  • Monero 12-word seed support (Wallet Groups support as well)
    • Optionally use a standard 12-word BIP 39 seed phrase, deterministically deriving a standard Monero wallet (plus an optional standalone 25-word seed phrase)
  • DFX’s OpenCryptoPay
    • Enables Cake Wallet users to pay in-store at any merchant supporting DFX’s new OpenCryptoPay, a simple QR scan is all it takes.
  • OnRamper flow enhancements
    • Much improved buying and selling via OnRamper, with less steps necessary for every purchase.
  • Add dEuro to Ethereum wallet token list
  • Integrate hardware wallets directly into the new send flow UI
    • Easier than ever to make payments directly from your Ledger!
  • Expand Bitcoin Design guides address formatting to the rest of the app
    • We implemented the amazing Bitcoin Design guidelines a few releases ago, and now have expanded their use to everywhere in the app you see an address.
