What's the deal with the F-Droid repo?

From docs:

We have decided to deprecate our F-Droid repository (fdroid.cakelabs.com) due to some issues preventing us from updating to our latest releases.

Okay, fine I guess, but the releases in Accrescent are not even up to date. Is it intentional that releases are not put on Accrescent at the same time?

Also why even deprecate the F-Droid repository? I used to use it and stopped once I saw the deprecation warning. But then someone on xmrbazaar told me that Cake brought it back so I tried it and to my surprise it was working again despite the deprecation notice on the site and it had the most up to date release with Accrescent being out of date despite that being the place that Cake said to get it.

So lots of confusion for me around releases.

Is the F-Droid repo back?

Yes, the F-Droid repository has been up and running since a few releases back. We had just not made any official comeback notices on it, nor have yet, we’re giving it time to test stability and reliability of it. It was, indeed, word of mouth knowledge. :grin:

I’ll check in on the other marketplace situation.

Cake Wallet and Cupcake are now up to date on Accrescent. New logo should either be already there, or appear shortly. Thanks!
